Can someone tell me if the k98 part 65 comes with the hop up adjustment unit located on the top? I figured out why mine has been acting up. Apparantly when I dropped it the part broke and later on the barrel started to slide out. I tried to put it back to gether only to find that I could not adjust the hoppup. so I took the gun completely apart and found the broken part 65. So, can anyone help me?

i have two tanaka kar98k's. both of them have different part 62's. my first one was a spring with a metal ball (part 61). on my second kar98k, part 61 and 62 were combined into a rubber cylinder. and to my knowledge, part 65 doesn't come with any of the other parts. you might also want to check uncomapny.com for other kar98k parts. dentrinityshop also carried part 65 at one time.

do you think it is possible to make the rubber clinder out of something I could find around the house? I looked at uncompany and they don't have part 61/62. I bet I could cut a tooth pick down small enough to work. When the barrel came out of the gun so did pieces of my part 61/62, I can definatly say it was a rubber cylinder!

part 62 is ment to be a spring, this helps to return the hop to the off possition, without it your hop wont work on or off find a spring wwd
