I have recived many many Pms since the forum rebuild from people wanting to know how to do the 20rnd mag conversion for the Thompson SMG. The thread that I had crated to address this subject has become very hard to find and is residing deep in the WW2AA Radio Shack section. So I thought I would move the link here to the technical section for everyone. Here it is: ww2aa.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1167451037TommyGunner

Thanks TG. My 28 already has a custom drum mag, but you're low-cap conversion thread is always insightful.
Didn't Schmitty (at least I think it was schmitty) come up with a drum mag that held batteries as well a long time ago? I should look around for the thread that contained it. I'd like to do something similar to my 28 so I can use it in more of a chicago typewriter style.
