Hey Troopers,
Wondering if it would be possible to replace the current wood of the Marushin M1 Garand with a real M1 Garand stock and hand guards??
Also has anyone tired to replace the sights with the real steel version??
Thanks for your help.
Cheers, Fader

And you'd want to do this why? ? The wood would require significant alteration and the front site my guess is would slip right on. I can check if you'd like as I have both. Again you'd like to do this because? If you've lost the front site and broken the stock I might see where you're headed otherwise I'm confused.

2nd Bat,
I was looking at replacing the rear hand guard as I managed to crack it almost in half and was looking to have spares in case anything else happened.
As for the sights I was look for replacement screws for the rear site.
Thought it would be easier just to look for real steel parts instead of trying to contact Marushin.
Cheers, Matt

Fader,
That makes your request much clearer to understand and easier to respond to. The rear (actually referred to as the lower handguard) is interchangeable with a real Garand handguard. If you buy one I advise you to get one with the metal clip included as replacing them results in lots of cracked handguards. The sight screw for the rear are slightly different but I pulled one off an actual gun and tried it on a Marushin Garand and it does work (sort of) It's slightly off . With loctite it would probably work fine. Loctite on every screw on a Marushin Garand is adviseable anyway.
Good luck and thanks for clearing up your post. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the questions were posed but now of course it makes great sense. Sorry for my facetious response earlier.
