Hello all just wondering if some rules can be pondered upon, like i said before with the stay down rule if shot just drop it adds realism and if a grenade lands nearby and if (according to grenade rules) you are killed jump and apply stay down rule, and as far as grenades can we throw em back its much cooler!! these are just some things we can do so if ya take pictures or make movies we can attract other airsofters and of course it would add alot i mean aloooot of realism and make things more interesting of course these need to be expieramented with but tell me wut ya think!!! ;D

When we play here in the CHicago area, we use medics. Here's what happends when you get hit:
1. stay down and yell "MEDIC!" (Germans yell "SANI!").
2. you are unable to do anything until the medic arrives.
3. upon his arrival, he will hold out his medic bag and you reach in an pull out a card.
4. The card levels are KIA, Severe Injury, or Minor Injury Different body parts are also affected, arms, legs, chest, head...there is even a "Million Dollar Wound" card. SO if you're shot in the arse you continue to play unaffected.
5. Once you pick your card the medic will read it and mark the appropriate area. KIA's are marked with a strip of bandage (white masking tape) across the helmet. Severe Injuries are marked on the chest and any affected body part is also marked. Minor injuries are only marked on the corresponding body part.
6. If you are KIA you stay where you fall untill the battle is over...OR if a regenerating point is pre-determined you exit the field and go to the regen point. If you have a severe injury you can only move if helped by the medic or other player. Minor injuries require you to NOT use that affected body part. This requires the honor system but it's a lot of fun to try and play with only one arm.
This system is medic intensive but adds A LOT of realism. We used this system last June at our event and it was well received by all players.

How we have played is if you get it you yell MEDIC for US and DOCTOR in a germanish way then you put a yellow wounded rag on your head, each player as a set amount of medic bands, when hit anyother play can "heal" you. After all of the bands are used up you can go to any friendly CP and be regen'd

The hole medic bands & "healing" is too much like paintball for my liking. But, it's another way to play.

ture, true. but with your way can the medics be shot/killed? You can play either way...medics can be killed or they are invincible. If they are killed somebody has to pick up the medic bag and take up the duty.

its hard to do grenades, if it doesn't explode how do the players even know it went off? Most airsofters don't use pyro to do grenade, but how else would you. To me its lame where you toss a nade and what everyone in 10ft is dead but it doesn't explode or do anything at all.

This is true but if its like the hot potato rule where you get so many seconds to rid of it cant you throw it? and they make a gas pinneapple grenade but not potato mashers...

Well, Frankly, tossing it back is HollyWood. There's a 3 second fuse on a MK II frag right? That gives you about maybe 1 second in the air, 1 second on the ground to pick it up and 1 second to toss it back. Just tried it, nearly imposible. And then there's the possibility that who ever threw it let it 'cook off' first by holding it for 1 or 2 seconds while the grenade is armed to get an instant explosion

Are we talking about airsoft grenades, or the fake ones you attach to your belt?

let's just make pipe bombs and throw them at each other, the realism would be through the roof.

We only allow grenades for use in bunkers and buildings. It has to land in a bunker everyone inside is dead. Grenades don't work out in the open because then you end up with people arguing about what 10 feet is. It gets ugly real fast.

Here are some ideas for grenades
~Dummy grenades with a 10ft red ribbon on them, if the ribbon can be circled on you and touch you, you're dead
~Just throw rocks, if you're hit, your dead
~wire firecrackers in you're dummies (which isn't difficult) if the firecracker goes off within 10ft you're dead
by the way I was being sarcastic about the pipe bombs. It scares me when you guys don't pick up on that kind of stuff.

10ft rules cause arguments, red ribbons screw witht he natural flow of things. Rocks are a bit dangerous. Buy the Escort Pinapple and if you are hit by a bb when it goes off you are dead. They are about 50.00 and they are unidirectional. I have a couple of the baking soda and vinegar grenades I would sell I can tell you I don't think much of them. They do look similar to egg grenades. They make a hell of a pop when they go off. My review here. www.worldwar2airsoft.com/ahg.htmIf you read the review and you are still interested in buying the two I have PM me.
