I was wondering if anyone knew what those sniper garments where all the grass and sticks can be tucked into it are called.
And also whether or not you can get one at an Army Surplus store. I had trouble searching because I didn't know what they're called.

Sounds like a ghillie suit.

Reece's right, it must be a ghille suit.
I've hear that you can actutally MAKE your own suit for a fraction of the cost some of these Surplus stores sell them for. Search for making your own ghille suit on Google and see what comes up
My understanding is that Marine Corps scout snipers make their own Ghille suits as part of the training. I think it's pretty much a set of BDU's with net atacthed to the suit some how, then they take burlap and cover the thing in a bunch of different shades and foliage.

Ghille suits are usually camoflauged on site and the grass, branches, etc., are changed when they move into a different area. This means that they will always blend into the surrounding area. This can be a time consuming process but once you get it right, you will be practically invisible.
