2ndBat- Which Alfa did you own? This is what I had my first couple years of College- After two blown motors due to shall we say 'tempermental' Italian oil pumps, I finally accepted that Italian sports cars + College finances don't mix I still miss that car.......someday maybe I'll get another one -G

I had a 1981 Alpha Spider, A 1974 Fiat 124 Coupe, and a couple of 1977 to 1981 Lancia HPEs mam Mia can you say glutton for punishment? I loved them though. My brother in Law was international president of the lancia Club for years and races a vintage Aprillia Coupe. I think he owns currently 5 Lancias!
I finally decided to sell them. Even when new the sound of them rusting kept me up nights.

I had a 74 GTV just like that too!!. I love most euro sports cars and have had all kinds over the years. Currently have a Lotus Europa and Sunbeam Alpine. Most aren't as unreliable as their reputation suggests, but they where expensive to repair and rust prone like most cars from the 60-70's
