Okay so star has all these mags for the M-16 in boxes of ten, but why have they not come out with the same thing for the Thompson. I love useing the 60rnd mags and have 6 of them but I really want to have not only my 2 3cell ammo pouches full but two Thomposn mag bags full as well and at $30 a mag for a 60rnd I would defenetly buy 10 20rnd mags fo $40 if Star would come out with them.

Volume and market size. The Thompson never sold in the numbers anticipated and certainly no where near the number of M-16 variants out in the market to support the sale of supplemental mag sales. Pity, that. The Thompsons disappointing sales is the main reason we're not seeing very many additional WW2 model offerings. Economy of scale is such a huge factor in costs and return on expenditure that it greatly dictates what's made and what's not and what they costs would be. If Star did build some Thompson specific magazines, because of the lower volume of sales vs the set up costs they'd probably be more expensive then the Marui! Hence there'd be no point.
