I plan to post a series of resource displays that can be used for reference purposes for both US and German players. It is my hope that the visitors to this site find them interesting (accurate) and worthwhile. They will come from my collection and the collections of various friends in the WW2 community. I will post and add as time permits. Enjoy! These photos use a historically correct and actual Party flag as backdrop but in no way reflects a political bent or endorsement of any kind. It is not my intent to make a statement of an inflamatory nature and I apologize if the intended historical ambience intended offends anyone in any way. The weapons depicted are BATF certified legal weapons demilled or restricted where neccessary. They are museum display items for historical reference only. I am a historian not a gun nut!

Great displays. One suggestion if I may. The party flag does nothing to offend me, but it may others. Just something to concider. Sadly, that flag has come to be known as a "Sk*nhead" thing. It's a crock of shiot...but something to ponder.
All hell breaks loose if someone even sees one at a WWII reenactment. I just love revisionist history.
Very impressive collection as well!

Good point. Obviously not an endorsement of anything political. The despots of nazism can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned and I'm sure the visitors and readers of this site as well. deleat the photos if neccessary. Hopefully the weapons obscure the image enough to be acceptable.

I agree with you 2nd Bat. Please don't take my suggestion as being rude. Perhaps we can put a disclaimer at the top of your post, something like:
"These images are for the sake of preserving history and in now way represent any attempts at promoting socialist views".
I total load of crap...but with a lot of "youngsters" joining our ranks, all we need is a "soccer mom" to see her little prince looking at a board that has a picture of a natsee flag! MY GOD!!! Nevermind all the porn sites the little pervert visits...that natsee flag will be the begining of the end for him!!!
I say leave the pictures, they are very well done, just throw that disclaimer up there. I won't edit your post, I'll leave that to you.

2nd. Bat. I concur with Cpt. Zak's remarks. Thanks for sharing the photos. They are excellent. Now a request of my own. Can you post bigger version of the second two photos. They are too small fo me to really see them and read their explanatory captions.

I thought I had phot bucketed them larger but I guess not. I'll send the files to our wiz kid Guiness and let him resubmit them in a size that makes the captions clear.

I mean there going to have to deal with the fact that there were Nazis in WW2 and there flag had a damn swastika on it. I mean a American may offend a japanese person on account of the nagasaki and hiroshima bombings. Or a soviet flag my offend a german person because of the rape and killings the russians did. Anyways, nice guns. Wernt alot of the Czech Kar sites messed up to shoot of target?

German/Czech Vz24: What i was told by my grandfather (app.15 years old at that time), who was forced to work for Germans in armory, the workers everytime they had a chance slightly, not-recognisebly, damaged weapons which they produced. In case of rifles etc. they moved front or back sights, decurved barrel etc. Or they produced grenades which did not explode etc.
And very, very nice collection of rifles. The G.43 is No.1.

Nice pics and great collection of items.
Yeah, its sad that the flag there has to be always considered a symbol of hate and not history. My grandfather had one in his attic that he got off a German U-boat in France but he can't really take it out to show people because it may offend.

vietnammarine> Somehow thats the story you get from everyone that worked in the factories anywhere. I think those people really badly want to display themselves as heroes that worked against the natzees. It's a widespread practice amongst old people here in Denmark, because our relationship with germany was very good until late 43. "Yes, i sold them food and supplies, but i made them pay higher prices" But i guess these people need to justify their actions by fooling themself to belive they actually did not help the war machine...
