Originals, they have deals with large scale surplus dealers. Reproductions, they make them, or get them from foreing vendors.

There is a lot of stuff coming out of China right now. some of it is of dubious quality and accuracy some of it is excellent. There are also USA and other sources. If you are a stitch counter you want to be careful what you buy and who you buy it from. Zak Gordak and others on these forums are excellent guides in the world of authenticity. If you are thinking of starting your own business...think about that real carefully...The money does not exactly flow like wine in a niche market like this.
