Well, I was helping a man in my neighborhood move, and while cleaning out his garage, I stumbled on an old footlocker, dated 1942. I knew the man's father was a chaplain during the war, but the man didn't know anything other than that. Inside the footlocker was every National Geographic from January, 1940, through December, 1944. All of the maps are with the magazines. The man told me I could have them, so, I now own them all, as well as the August, 1965 NG of Winston Churchill's funeral.

one question, is the foot locker olive drab, with kind of flimsy metal sides that pop in and out a lot, two latches and a locking latch in the center? Cuz I found one like that in my Grandfather's basement which he kept all his old dress uniform in but he isn't with it enough any more to explain where it came from.
