The grizzled old 1st sgt with the much adorned unform and the high and tight haircut looked uncomfortable in his dress blues and certainly at the black tie event he was forced to attend. As the evening wore on a gorgeous 30 something female was increasingly paying him more and more attention. Perhaps it was because he wasn't fawning all over her like every other man in the room. Perhaps it was his silver hair and square set jaw.
She questioned his unform and his metals and his responses were increasingly short and direct. No idle chit chat here and certainly no signs of flirtation or interest. Finally she got to the point and mentioned that he seemed overly uptight and unfriendly. His response was "Not at all m'am" . She asked if perhaps it had been too long since he'd had the pleasure of a womans intimacy. His response "Perhaps that's it m'am." "How long has it been since you made love to a woman?" she asked." flirtatiously. His response was "Truthfully, 1958."
"My God" she said, "that's incredible, no wonder you're wound so tight, that's a long time to go without hauling your ashes."
He rsponded by saying. "Not really m'am, it's only 2130 hrs but I appreciate your concern."

The elderly American gentleman arrived in Paris by plane. At French Customs, he fumbled for his passport.
"You 'ave been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically. The old gent admitted that he had been to France previously.
"Zen, you should know enough to 'ave your passport ready for inspection."
The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it."
"Impossible. You Americans alwayz 'ave to show your passports on arrival in France!"
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained.
"Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in '44, I couldn't find any Frenchmen to show it to."
I like this one the best. ;D
