Hey all,
just wanted to say hi. I have been talking to capt Zak throuh e-mails about the hobby, and I have decided to get involved. I have already made a purchase for the marushin m1 garand(through Redwolfe). I should have that soon, though they are still processing the order. I hope to see some of you in the field in the very near future.

I hope to make some of the sept + events, give me time to gather the uniform and gear components needed, and avoid the July heat stroke.

I lived in DeKalb while in undergrad, at NIU. Are you attending Northern?

Sweet page man, It was cool to see the stiff you and the 70th can bring to the field. though I am new to WW2 ... I have been doing American Civil War Re-encating. So, I'm not new to the hobby. lol, though Looking at it, i forgot how much stress getting geared out caused my wallet ... but it's worth it.

garandftw; Glad you liked it! The halftrack at the end in one of the photos is my assignment. I also drive the weapons carrier, it's a 1943 Dodge 3/4 ton. The halftrack is a 1944 White 15 ton tank destroyer, 75mm gun, working!!! I like these guys who think it's too big to use in the field. SURPRISE!!!! Tanker44
