Today is my last full day at home. Tomorrow I get ready to head off for the Army. Once I get the chance to have access to a computer again whenever that may be I will be posting updates of whats going on. Everyone have fun and get some good photos up in the Stitch-knot-see thread that I can see when I get back. Thanks for the good times!

Kory,
On behalf of the WWIIAA staff I'd like to extend our heartfelt best wishes and thanks for being such a positive influence and contributor to the site for these years.
Your attitude and prescence has been greatly appreciated and your contributions will be missed.
Take care of yourself and stay safe and return to us ASAP when you get settled, basic can actually be fun believe it or not even though it will be a challenge, I'm sure 2nd Bat has given you plenty of prep intel.
Keep your spirits up, your head down and most of all, keep your a$$ out of trouble and hopefully as much out of harms way as possible brother!
Slainte!

I'll echo guiness' comments also. Yeah, basic can be fun. As I remember it was about 1% of the time. Just kidding, maybe 2%. But, it's not supposed to be, it's there because they don't shoot plastic bb's in the real thing. Good luck to you and thank you for serving.

Mango,
You'll be a great soldier. I know that from your attitiude and participation in all the airsoft events I've seen you at. As you'll soon find out there is far more then posing and looking good in great impressions and the profession of soldier requires a lot of work. "Hurry up and wait," "mail call", "chickenapplesauce officers, brain dead NCOs, mickey mouse details," will all take on a new meaning in your new found life experience as will comraderie, conditioning and friendships.
Good luck Kory. You'll do great. I'm proud of you.
