Okay, I'm am going to try to make a WWII Medical Litter (Stretcher) since I can't seem to find one. It's going to be 2' across, and 8' long. My plan is to get 2 8 foot long aluminum poles, 1 sheet of ATF Canvas, and 4 D-Rings. I am going to sew the canvas on the poles, with 11'' of space for handles, then sew the D-Rings on the sides 1'' away from the handles for the Litter straps. I plan to have these back at an "Aid Station" (I guess I'll make 2 or 3)and use them for toting wounded back. Yeah, that'll be exciting.

I can get you WW1 and WW2 Strechers. I have a guy I can get them from. Here is a bad pic of one, but you get the idea. All of them are servicable. TommyGunner

If you make one, dont use aluminum poles, they used wood poles. -Nick

No thanks, I don't need that stretcher anymore. I got a post-war (Early Korea) stretcher on my way. The only difference is that instead of the Red Cross on it, it says "FCDA."
