In october last year we ran 'projekt wotan' An allied commando raid on a german underground v weapons facility. Our site was a 1940 underground bunker complex hundreds of feet under the south coast of england! We re badged it with period german signage and posters. here's a few shots.

God...you really do have incredible sites there Gadge. Looks awesome. <YD> Cheers We were very lucky with this one. My fave bit of the game was when Sid and I slipped on SS oversmocks and german helmets and casually walked though the entire german side before any one noticed, we managed to create complete chaos behind the lines before we were caught and 'executed'

Gadge, you neglected to mention that this is not just any old WWII bunker but was infact the UGHQ for Operation Overlord! During WWII an Underground Headquarters - UGHQ (for operation Overlord) was built beneath Fort Southwick. This provided a bombproof, comprehensive Naval, Army and Air Force Operation Control and Communication Centre - call sign 'MIN'. The headquarters’ main role on D-Day was gathering information and coordinating the Allied naval forces. Reports from radar stations were crossed-referenced with messages from shipping to provide an accurate picture of what was happening in the English Channel. This information was then plotted on a large table map at the Fort, and was passed to the Allied commanders nearby at Southwick House. On the 6 June 1944 there were 700 staff working underground. For the full low-down and history of the site see: www.portsdown-tunnels.org.uk/palmerston_forts/fort_southwick/1_overview_p1.html

Nah it was just to freak players out, most the time the site was in partial darkness or pitch black when the demo charges were blown and emergency lighting came on.
After set up the night before (whihc was creepy with only four of us in the tunnels) we were a bit spooked to find out they had moved in the night.
Then we realised rats had tried to drag them away becasue they were covered i tomatoes...

Oh and the night before all the players camped in the tunnels so we put a small cinema on and played 'where eagles dare' to get everyone in the mood!

Its now a dedicated airsoft site.
They normally run modern cqb games but we 'loaned' the site for a wwii bash.
