CMP has received another large transfer of Garands from the U.S. Army and we are currently processing these rifles through our Inspection & Repair program. We are accepting orders now, with delivery to be expected in anywhere form 60-120 days. Credit cards are not charged until a few days before actual shipping.

sorry for stupid question, but can these fire live rounds?
or do they have some block, so it can only take blanks

The CMP sells real rifles. To blank adapt an M1 all that is needed is to place a blank adapter on the front, replacing the gas cylinder lock nut, which restricts the gas that escapes from the muzzel forcing some of that gas back to cycle the rifle. You can fire blanks with no blank adapter, but you would have to cycle the bolt on each round.

Nice, I'll probably need to pick one up fairly soon. My reenacting unit requires that you own a rifle within 1 year of joining.

wow $595 and you have a Garand, I would probebly have to pay three times that, and need a ton of papperwork.

Or you could buy a blank firing weapon.
I've already got a Garand, sans the adapter.

I had my Garand blank adapted by tapping the barrel and installing an internal adapter , looks more real that way.
