Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, but much experienced with actual Thompson M1A1's. However, I'm looking for one of the Thompson M1A1 cap-fire versions I've seen around. I know I need to stay away from the WWII guns website - and I've found a supplier in England, but I'm looking for one closer to home (US). Does any reputable stateside folks carry them?
Thanks in advance!

Well I am pretty sure that its illegal to own a weapon in China so instead they make cap firing guns. So these Cap firing guns are made in China. And until now I was not aware of any other place selling them then WWII guns. So if you found one in England, I guess you might be able to find one here but I don't know of any. Could you give me a link to the website that sells them please. Thanks!

You can find several models that I'm talking about on wwiiguns.com, but you do NOT want to buy from them (they consistently take peoples money //arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=articles/tokyo_hobby/tokyo_hobby.htm)

I suggest you look online at one of the Hong Kong Airsoft sites that sell them like Dentrinity, UNcompany and several others. Look for and buy plenty of .45 cap shells and spare magazines while your at it. Note:Stay clear of the retailer WW2guns Thanks a lot! Just what I was looking for. There seem to be a lot of disreputable HK dealers (like the WW2Guns guys), have you used Dentrinity or Uncompany before? Any tips? I'm leaning towards the Hudson from Dentrinity since it's about half the price. I sent them an email with some quick questions (first good test of a retailer is to see if they answer email). Did the Hudson have a working bolt (aka action works while firing/ejecting brass?) or was it a fixed system? I know I need to buy the extra brass and caps - but if I can' t buy the caps from HK, where can I get them from? (i know of a British supplier - but they're expensive). Thanks so much! Matt

Dentrinity and UN are both very good HK companies. I shop there all the time. You may not get a reply for few days as it is National Day here in Hong Kong (it's like their 4th of July) and people take off for a few days... like me, I'm headed to Bangkok today. FYI, WW2guns is not a HK company.
When I get back next Monday, I'll scan the shops to see who else here has them.
