looks cool, just sand and restain then try and use clips. Since the tanaka mags don't fit in mag pouches the clips can.

Oh wow, the thing is real. Maybe there is hope for the AGM MG-42 and MP-44 after all.

Does anyone know if this thing still uses the 2-piece inner barrel? Because if it doesn't then this could be a worthy buy after all.

So, it's still a shell-ejecting bolt action, but now it's gonna be bitchy when it's cold? Nice "improvement". Now if they could use some really cheesy pot metal for the castings, so shooting it above 90*f could cause it to explode or something, then they'd have a winner. (who's making these design calls?)

It's obviously not for somebody who wants to play airsoft in MN in January when it's -10 outside ;D That's why we list 'hardcore' as a medical condition on our waivers

I like my D-boy. It was good for the price. I use it still from time to time. You need to take good care of it and really play around with it to make it work. IDK about this gas system. I'd almost prefer if it was CO2 fired with a screw on bottle/tank. They could put it in the butt stock.
Eh... IDK. I'm happy with the spring version for now. Some spacers, cob job on a new spring, cob job on barrel and hop-up... and we have a winner for less than $300.00.

I agree with Raimund, As far as bolt action rifles are concerned, gas seems to over-complicate what is already a simple mechanism. The spring is reliable, consistent and works in any climate. Gas does not, and then there's the added cost of the gas itself.
Granted Dboys has already overcomplicated this with the shells, but as Raimund pointed out, there are demonstrated solutions to making the spring version much more competitive.
