I recived pics from one of the happy owners that bought one of my Lee-Enfield No4. MKI rifles. He asked not to name who he is so that its a surprise on the field when he attends his next event but here it is. First off I have to say that this guy has one phenominal British Paratrooper Impression! I have many thanks to direct towards him for being so very patient in waiting for the rifle. I built this one along with 4 others before I was set up for mass production. TommyGunner

Looks great TG! Though, it seems to me that the barrel sticks out a bit too far. I love the impression too!

That has been brought up before and its a possibility. I didnt have a reall rifle to look at and measure when I built it so I had to go off what measurements and schematics I culd find on the internet. If it is too long the outter barrel is removeable and 30 seconds with a hack saw and 5 seconds with a black can of spray paint can fix it, but thats up to them.

Yeah,it came out really nice..I think that the barrel tip looks ok..But how long is it overall? It looks shorter than my SMLE,or is he a really big guy? :-)

It does look very nice and very real. I have blueprints of the MKIII S.M.L.E. Tommy on my photo site, not the MKI however: Click here mate: www.pbase.com/kalbs/image/109774547 for the MK III

Thanks for the compliments and the length of just the stock (not counting the barrel) is over 44 inches long, I belive the No4 MKI was longer than the SMLE which was 44 inches long.
But either way any improvements I can make will be made on the next batch of rifles.

Oh..Ok..My SMLE is about 112 cm long..But its built around a Denix replica, maybe not the most accurate replica out there.. Btw..A exellent bandolier filler is a some used AA batteries sandwiched/duct taped between a piece of cardboard!
