I didn't expect a review this soon, too bad it is so bad. The full steel GBB sounds good though.

GBB Too bad this AEG turned into applesauce e. I'm sure for the prices AGM would have sold it it would have been useable even with faults but like he said for what you pay it should not have the issues it seems to.

Well, it seems like a lot of the worst problems should be easy enough for Viva to fix in their manufacturing process. it looks to me like its simply a bunch of stupid mistakes that is ruining a potentially fantastic piece of equipment. Disappointing yes, but I'm not without hope for the future.

Here are pics that Viva supplied the guys over at the UK boards. These are direct from Viva themselfs as they created a user account on the UK boards and posted them there. www.vivaarms.com/sten8.jpgwww.vivaarms.com/sten9.jpgwww.vivaarms.com/sten10.jpgwww.vivaarms.com/sten11.jpgViva also had this to say, this was posted by Viva member Dapher on the UK boards. "Hi guys Please allow me to say something. We are VIVAARMS. First, I should thank you for your guys notice our production. We are mainly focus on develop and research WWII airsoftguns, we ¡¥d love to sharing much more good guns with yours. Yes, maybe our STEN is not most perfect, but we will try my best to do better and better. About the price, ours are more lower than Japanese ƒº For cost is high, our sell-price is a little high. We are totally different with CYMA or JINGGONG, we focus on some special guns and put our much time to creative these famous guns, not just copy from Japanese .this is the other reason about the price. The second we are surprised about one of exporters in China has some quarrels with Steve. I hope that is a misunderstanding. To be my honesty, we love to hear different voices from the world., it will be helped us do better than before. We need progress, all the company and factory need develop. Thank you for Steve¡¦s advise and suggestion, we will consider it sincerely. Third we hope stopping to quarrel about this thing. Either Chinese or English people, we are the people who loves wargame, love WWII airsoft guns, that¡¦s enough, please give some space let them do their own decisions. By the way ,we will continue to develop much more type of STEN ,and keeps getting better. If you have any questions or advising , please give me e-mail vivadap@hotmail.com ,forgive my poor English. thank you all." I persoanlly think that this Sten looks great! the video seems to contradict what Viva says so we will just have to wait until someone can write a full review on it. I hope for the best as should this turn out to be a good airsoft gun I would be delighted to buy one. TommyGunner

Viva should offer the Sten gun shell for people like us who want to convert the gun to an AEG. I imagine the price of firing system makes up for %85 of the cost based on what these guns cost to get made. That would be awesome.

The video didn't get to mention anything about the shooting performance. Who knows? Maybe he just got a lemon of an exterior and it actually ends up performing nicely. Wishful thinking? Probably, but I won't be pessimistic.
BTW these guys, if not anyone else, should make a Type-100 or a PPSH.

Holy popsicle sticks, that is a long download! Good Lord, I am not real impressed with their Sten, which is really sad since they were so simple to produce in real life. I guess I still am in the running for making a Sten without having to worry too much about a Chinese version, now I just need access to a lathe and mill again to finish the prototype, then find a shop I can subcontract through for mass production, not to mention find the money to get things mass produced, LOL! If you say it real fast, it doesn't sound all that bad, LOL!
