Quick Q for a project
If I use a knife to pop off the thompsons orange tip, can I put it back on without using glue or tape? (CYMA THOMPSON)
Thanks. I dont want to test it until I know.

Probably not. The halves of the tip have small locating pins that will likely will snap off when you pry it apart. However, a small amount of super glue will be all that's needed to rejoin the halves.

I took mine apart and they come back together without glue. If you break the plastic locking pins it won't though.

Is there any way I can take it off without breaking the plastic locking pins?

i've found that slowly working it apart with a knife works well. You have to be patient though, as if you try to force it, instead of slowly wiggling it apart, it may break. This wont work every time, but should work most effectively.
