I can't wait to see pics! Actually none of us have any of the correct WW1 uniforms or gear. However we do have all 100% correct WW1 weapons. I supply the attendies with Bolt action rifles and another member who builds AEG WW1 machine guns brings M1917 mgs and Vickers Mgs for us to use. Really the battle is going to be a WW1 test battle to see how we can work an all bolt action battle. To participate the only requirement for the game is that you bring any type of bolt action rifle. WW2 kits are acceptable for now until we begin investing in our WW1 kits. I currently have several full WW1 US web kits, I simply have to buy a uniform as do many of our guys here in Illinois. But it will be awhile until people are wearing the WW1 uniforms. But the most important part (the use of bolt action weapons and Mgs) will be instituted. TommyGunner

Well , when i put it together there where only a few places to get stuff , the helmet is an original M16 helmet with front armor plate , that was $300 , a museum quality repro body armor set , $500 , repro uniform , $250 , original buckle , canteen , gas mask and gas mas container , shovel , another $250 , short handle Trench Pick ,$140 , boots $100 , RS G98a rifle $200 .
So around $2000 for the full Sormtrooper imp.

AT some point in the near future I would love to buy the WW1 USMC uniform from Shiperfarbik. I have seen the uniform in person and I have to say that it is the finiest uniform replica I have ever seen.
I have the full web gear set for a WW1 USMC riflemen already. The M1910 Belt, P12 1st aid pouch, WW1 USMC M1910 shovel cover, the M1910 shovel, M1910 canteen pouch and canteen, M1910 Haversack plus pack tail, WW1 reproduction shelter half with poles and stakes, WW1 Springfield ammo Bandolier, and finally a WW1 helmet. I also have a reall M1917 Eddystone (mine is the .303 1914 P-14 version) also I have my M1903 Springfield airsoft rifle.
All I need is the uniform now lol.

got the forums up ww1aa.proboards.com, actually hessen antique makes pretty cheap uniforms, ahhh.... newville, i was there once, as a runner, i wasn't old enough to have a blank gun, or so they said, any way i think we should allow partial impresions at first so people can get into it without breaking the bank

Awesome, just registered. I think that would be pretty cool actually. I've had a few bolt action only fights with friends and it's pretty fun and intense, I could see how ww1 airsoft would be kinda cool.

Oberst... I think a change of color to the boards is in order. That applesauce hurts my eyes! Other than that, it looks good.
