What is the top gun (not the L.A.W., but the gun below it)? I haven' t seen anything quite like it, and it looks interesting, a sort of amalgam of parts.

Dude , that's an FN FAL , the second most used battle rifle in the entire world right behind the AK47.

Dude , that's an FN FAL , the second most used battle rifle in the entire world right behind the AK47. You mean it's not all Armalites and kalashnakovs??? FAL=western worlds responce to communism. Yep , the FN FAL was my issued weapon , i also used an MP40k for a while until i was told not to use it anymore.
And during the '60s/'70s the FN FAL was the Western Powers answer to the Soviets AK47.

Aussie kit? I think the vn era FALs had wood stocks on them. Adler could clearly tell u better than I.
