I'm sure its possible. There are many custom builders on here that are very skilled and Im confident cold make a great looking MAS. However, I dont think they would have much of an incentive to make any in large qualities because of a lack of interest. You have to put into perspective, how many custom MAS rifles do you think would sell? You could probably count n one hand the number, because of several reasons: 1.) There arent many French military (airsoft)reenactors 2.) If you are doing a partisan impression, you can use any of the other guns the custom builder already uses 3.) It's probably a costly build not necessarily worth the effort You can always try to ask one if they'll do the job for you, and all the power to ya man. But I dont think you'll get many people enthusiastic about making it for you unless you pay top dollar

That's one weapon you will NEVER see on an airsoft field! I own 2 real ones. One a post war rework, the other a genuine 1939 dated model. I do a WW2 1940 French impression. We do one,1940 event every year, hoping for 2. The authenticity guidelines are VERY strict for the French, and especially the German units. No MG42's, STG's or G43's at those events! And nary a piece of camo to be seen aside from the German zelts!

Also, the gun was rare in 1940. Most French troops went to War with WW1 Berthiers. Only a few units had the NEW MAS 36.

The mas 36 according to a good veteran friend of mine (who was a feldgendarme attatched with the 2nd panzer army.) was often a favorite to him and a few of his gendarme friends. He claimed due to their small size and portability. Although he complained that they always "lacked ammunition"

Man alot of negativity to such a cool and underated rifle. Heck I would build one if someone really wanted it badly enough.

What a truely amazingly excelent build there!!! I love the way he constructed the rifle and went about matting all of the parts from the reall gun to the BAR-10 parts flawlessly! Great job!

I never said it was a bad weapon, they shoot great! No safety, and the bolt handle is shaped funny, but I sure like it.
