Thank god for the local military store. They have EVERYTHING! Guns, ww2 stuff, ww2 stuff, and ww2 stuff. They even might have bought a ww1 helmet painted by walt disney! They also have all those pieces that you never find repros of, and they arent horribly expensive. Got my medic pouch for 10 dollars more than a repro. Oh, and I have an original 9th airforce pilots outfit. Pants are from that uniform. And every month our city has the largest swap meet in the whole US. And if anyone wants some boots, last swap meet I found so many original para boots and roughouts it was crazy...

"Thank god for the local military store"
Reeeaaallly..........
They got a website? and if not how far are they from your house to maybe give some of a heads-up about what goodies they might have in stock that we could talk you into grabbing for us? hmmmm? ;D
F'instance, I'm always looking for good correct m1936 pistol belts like ya got on there and leggings always come in handy.
;D

They are around 25-20 minutes from my place. No site, but it is original web gear heaven. Im talking, m1 belts, pistol belts, ammo pouches, musettes, original e-tools*very pricey*, the works! I can get you a pistol belt with perfect markings, khaki!, and only for around 30 dollars. And I got some pretty cool leggings for 20, OD#7 and dated 1942 *almost impossible to find OD leggings before '43. PM me and we can talk about it

Sorry Silencer. All the surplus store I know of, at least in the San Jose area, don't have any ww2 stuff - mostly modern or European (and overpriced to boot ). You wanna go here next weekend www.craigslist.com/eve/137981762.html Most of the stuff there's ww2 and you can find some pretty good deals there. If you're gonna go PM me and I'll give you a price list so you don't get jacked by the less than honest vendors . Mauser, you're gonna have to get us some deals on gear homie! Hey start up a business and you might even give Capt. Zak a run for his money ;D .

About the steel pots, they have been looking for one, and the next one coming in is reserved for me, I will inform you on any others. The husband is constantly at show buying stuff, so every week is a new batch of stuff to look at.
