How do you guys transport your Thompsons to and from the field? I see plenty of Garand and Carbine padded bags, but none for the thompson.

I meant, to conceal it. Since the public doesnt always appreciate myself walking around with a replica firearm, I was hoping not to get shot this year.

Brilliant! Would it fit in a garand or carbine bag?

Alright, well, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm almost positive I saw a Thompson bag somewhere when I was looking around for a vendor. I'll see if I can dig up the link.

Yes, They made a special carrying case for the Thompson. One version was made so you could leave a mag in and another was made so you had to take out the mag.

I like the looks of the IMA one but of course not being usable with the stock in place is problematic.

the cases from pacific canvas and leather are the cases meant for keeping the weapon in a loaded state, ready for use in an AFV of some kind, usually tanks.the small leather tabs attached to points on the interior of the vehicle.the british looking case from IMA may serve the same purpose for them.though,if i'm wrong, i'm sure 2nd Bat. will have the info..lol....can't think of any other reason to have a thompson broken down that way ,with the accesories and mags unless it was being stowed in a vehicle or plane..
