Maybe after they come out with this B.A.R, if they make money with it, we can suggest them an M1 Garand and show them the customs for ideas. I wonder what company is doing it.

worth a shot. what guns whould we suggest? K98 would be sweet.......... We need weapons that are not normally made(the kar98k is made by multiple companys) we need guns that are mostly custom made like: m1 garand, springfield, lee enfield, mosin nagant, ect. We should suggest: m1 garand, lee enfield, and mosin nagant (maybe a springfield too)

My question is: why are they cloning this? I can understand cloning on a complex gas mechanism but a simple aeg, just get a mech box stick it in a stock and your good to go... but anyways I hope this BAR is out soon

I'm watching this with baited breath, as Im working on a couple event plans that are going to require a number of event-provided weapons, and I'd really rather not try to fabricate a bunch of things from scratch.

How about finding out what is the name of the company and who is going to sell them. There's no question about IF it will sell, it is who, when and where.

here are some quotes from the thread i posted.
so this is also good news for the krauts. Knowing their MG42 is still on the way.
so we know for sure this is not an AGM product. So, who else makes WWII weapons in Airsoft?

Wow! This is potentially very exciting news. I don't want to piss on anyones Wheaties but feel compelled to inject a little sober reality. Like all things airsoft expect far greater delays than seems logical. If he is talking about a couple months, expect to see it in about a year and half. Naturally I would love to eat my words on that statement. A $170 BAR would be incredibly sweet. I suspect in all reality that is NOT going to happen. (Especially with a bipod and carry handle) The 150 to 170.00 of course is a preliminary price from a fellow who clearly is in the early stages of his creation. (Looks like he has bought a VFC to clone essentially) He'll probably discover that he can't make that price point and naturally that's a HONG KONG estimate so shipping will be added on top. If he could do it in the 300 to 400.00 range that would be awesome. If he could do it without real wood for less that would be fine too. I am convinced however that a well done functional BAR could be made available at well below the VFC price point and that it will sell. I will happily drop my current project efforts and let someone else provide the product I'm just naturally skeptical when this is all we have to go on. I suspect he is testing the water and feel strongly that an enthusiastic response and encouragement can make a big difference so please respond with eagerness to buy. I think there is a fear that a BAR is too long and unwieldly and therefore wouldn't have a wide market. WQhat they don't realize that even in the gun friendly US everything BAR is uber expensive and rarely available so the market extends well beyond airsofters. It also fills the role of crew served weapon so falls in the MG range of issue. Hence a price in the realm of SAWs would probably work fine. Gosh if this thing were in the 350 to 400 range with a bipod and carry handle I'd be all over it.
