Still not available here in HK Fusilier. I'm sure it will be soon though because I see display models in the windows.
Sent you an email Bob (warrenrifles) with a pdf of the Arnies review

Ares is out now, from the pix on e hobby asia it looks to have a bit mroe quality than previous offerings, but the top and bottom of the barrel shroud looks stamped too flat (im my opinion). I I got one, I would probably try to bend it too look more accurate. -gordak

I've seen and handled a few of the ARES PPSh models and they have an unrealistic feel to them compaired to the Hexagon because of the paint finish instead of blued and I noticed some paint chipping. I'm very interested in how they work though. I should wait and pass judgement until I actually can take one apart. update: woohoo! it snowed in hell today. I got my ppsh from uncompany

Owning both now, it is of my opinion that the hexagon is still better. I installed an M130 and still cannot get above 330 fps out of it. The hop-up I suspect leaks. It's a weird set-up.
Taking the gearbox apart can be a chore because of the blow-back rails. Look and feel is fine of the AREAS and I like the drum magazine more than hexagon's but still the hop-up fitting works by compressing two parts together.
Note that the magazines are not compatible between ARES and Hexagon.
If you own the Hexagon already be happy with it. The ARES is over priced and upgrading is futile.

kalbs - is the gearbox of the Ares proprietary? The hexagon uses a ver.7 TM or AGM style gearbox (small spur gear vs standard) ? The Ares is the only model available here but the proprietary gearbox and the price are holding me back. Still waiting for the hexagon model...
