I bought 5 MP40 mags from airsplat. However, my spring keeps flying out of them and the black piece thats hook to the spring falls off. I lost one of the black pieces already.
The spring doesn't always come out of the magazine hole but it does very often. Whenever I unload my BBs out of the magazine the spring sometimes comes out of the hole. I also just loaded an empty magazine into my MP40, upon pulling it out the spring fell out of the mag's hole.
Any idea how to fix this? Do any websites sell that black piece thats hooked to the spring so I can fix my mag that lost that piece?

I bought 1 of the mags off the website I bought the gun from. It had the same packaging as the airsplat ones but costed more. Wasn't sure if I was just getting bad luck from the mags.

also, i found it a good idea to superglue the followers (what i believe the little black thing is) to the springs. That way you don't loose them, and after i did that to my magazines that had the spring popping out problem, the springs "magically" came out a ton less (I don't know how that fixed it exactly, but it seemed to).

Aye, good call Irich. I first tried pushing the follower into the first coil of the spring. The mag still worked but it seemed sort of iffy.
Going to do superglue now -- this is probably the best fix.
