I have used green and yellow gas mixture for 2 years now, even on winter. Haven't had any problems.

No problems with Green Gas so far. No problems in the future? That's impossible with any airsoft gun.

The Tanaka K98 is an excellent airsoft rifle and one of the least troublesome and consistent gas airsoft guns available. They have great power, excellent accuracy and since they are gas a nice loud report and a smooth as silk action since you are not fighting a spring of any kind. No shells to screw around with definitely a skirmishable rifle and in my opinion well worth the money.

...this isn't a review, but a question about a weapon...we have a place for this type of thing

I stand corrected! Yes, it takes green gas.

I can't remember who told me this a while ago but someone mentioned that, since the metal parts are made out of aluminum, it will start to bend and warp after regular use. This might make the iron sights... very hard to use.
