This is the only piece of equipment I have at the moment, and I'm wondering when/where it's from. I'm thinking it might be from vietnam if not complete reproduction. It's swivel bale with smooth paint finish, completely green liner, and olive drab chinstraps I got it for $25 so I didn't mind where it came from at the time, i'm just a little curious now.

looks like the liner chin strap is not made of leather, if thats the case its from another country, LOTS of countries used m1s. The plastic liner with the ww2 stlye set up might tip off aperson who could identify it for you. Its definatly good enough to use for ww2 airsoft. -Gordak

The three dots on the sides tell you its a Norwegian version.
Those are 'spot-weld' marks for the strap bales only seen on the Norwegian versions of the US. pot. As well the metal strap hanger (clipped to the bale) indicates a 70's vintage.
Still a good helmet for Airsofting!

A few years ago I bought a helmet just like that but it had a west german sticker on the side of it. Im pretty sure its a 70's or 80's helmet. Ive seen them on the internet with flecktarn covers.
