I got to see Gordaks Ares Greaser and like others who have actually seen, felt and shot this gun I am EXTREMELY impressed. It is beautifully made and very well thought out. The weight, finish and attention to detail is very very good. Definitely a significantly positive addition to the armory and one that will find its way into my collection along with 3 or four spare magazines which together with a couple speed loaders should be quite adequate for a well run WW2 event that restricts ammo loads and bands high caps. IF ICS gets around to offering theirs and it is half as good as this gun...so much the better!
I tried skirmishing with a HUDSON GBB way back when and bought four spare magazines for it (At around $65.00 each for them) only to discover that like all GBB guns there just was no way to actually use it effectively. The mags were extremely persnickety and hard to load and reload into the gun as well as put BBs in and the gun itself ate it's young within several hundred rounds after jamming constantly. Fun when it worked! This Ares is vastly superior on every level.
