Hello,
My pistol belt is very, very dirty. I am ordering a bunch of new gear, and I am trying to clean up my 'dirtied up' gear just so I can look like a fresh soldier on the field. I don't want to get my new gear dirty, so I'd rather just clean my dirty things so it looks better. How would I clean the belt? Thanks in advance!

I agree, just use mild soap and a scrub brush or perhaps an old tooth brush to clean the grommets and nooks and crannies. I use a light oil on any tarnished or early corroded parts with my toothbrush and that usually cleans em up quite nicely.

I usually use a little fabric softener also and just wash it out real well. I can't say that actually helps, but it hasn't hurt anything, and I really do feel that some of the stuff that I bought dirty have come clean and feel like the material is less brittle and more pliable.
