I have decided to try a British 1st Airborne Division impression. I am getting for christmas the full para set from what price glory and a para helmet and rifle vasile from pegasus militaria after that with my own money I am gonna buy a leg bag and parachute. I was just wondering if that would be an ok impression I will use my thompson with it until I buy a shoot n scoot lee enfield.

For 1st Para, i'd recommend the Sten, it was more common, from what i understand a 5:2 ratio. But go for it! It'll be nice to see another limey round here!

I was watching a special on arnhem on the military channel and it showed about a 6:5 ratio of stens against lee enfields
-EDIT- could you send me some pics of your british impression (if that is what you do)

Para kit is really expensive from what I can see, The Maroon Berets were only worn on the parade grounds and by "high-ups". A para helmet is around $225, and from experience, i found it extremely uncomfortable.
Edit: I think the Parachute is a bit OTT for airsoft, also, i look on the view that if you're doing a static display, and have the jump rig, you'll have to stand in the thing all day.
