I am on the market for late WWII gear and don't know where to look!
I figured I would put together another impression that no one ever really does. I am working on putting together an impression of soldier in the 325th GIR during their occupation in Germany in 1945.
If anyone knows any good places to search for the ugly horrible OD gear no one wants please let me know. All the retailers I come across that sell WWII stuff is the all holy khaki.

What kind of items in particular are you looking for? I know I've found some OD items at local surplus shops and on eBay.

I'll take a look at the local surplus store and see what they've got.

all I ever see are the M1945 cargo packs. I would buy one but I have the M1944 field pack and they way the cargo packs attach are different from the M1944 and M1945 and wont work with one another. I appreciate you guys taking a look for me. Thanks!

eBay?
The M1944 and M1945 gear was common throughout the 1950s and the Korea War, until it was eventually phased out by the M1956 type gear commonly seen in the Vietnam War. So it is still abundant, perhaps more than the M1928 haversacks...
Check your local surplus stores and thrift shops too.
