Hey WW2AA,
I just joined the forums. My friend Mauser98k showed me the community. We are both in the same re-enactment unit. Anyway...

Seems good..Maybe get some m36 suspenders but othere than that soudns good. You can also post some pics of what you have on the I'm workin on it thread and peopel will tell you stuff on it

I would stay away from the M36 suspenders if you're doing a standard infantry set up. Of course they were used and favoured my most anyone as the haversack was a crappy design. Not everyone could ge their hands on the M36 suspenders though. So I would say stick with what you got. I would suggest getting an M1910 shovel and case to put on your haversack though which will make it look great!

29th, I am 9th ID. And about suspenders, themango is right, only under very special circumstances, or if you're an NCO you can use the m36s. And for pics.... my camera is indisposed, due to 'soup intake.'
