Hey i thought it would be cool to do an FSSF impression. Does anyone know what kind of gear and uinforms they had?

First Special Service Force. With the FSSF, you can do a wide variety of uniforms. They had pretty much everything issued to them during the war (not all at once mind you). They had OD's, '43's - I think even some had '42's. I know they had every type of boot or shoe that the US issued - service shoe, jump boot, and buckle boot. If you have anything WW2 GI, you've already started....

Obviously the mountain gear was somewhat unique. Also found with the 10th Mountain. A couple of worthwhile items that would set you apart as a First Special Service Force is the Mountain parka (Khaki) the unique hat and ski goggles and a mountain ruck. Also though not essential the Alpine boots I have an alpine parka as shown but without the fur collar and several of the mountain rucks which are a cool WW2 pack. Much larger and more functional than the Haversack

I no i need a special V42 i thkn thats it. I also heard they trained up here in Helena at Fort Harrison and i live a few hours form it.
