my team here in VA does parachute infantry and we are doing a little PT. we have U.S. Paratroops T shirts with black running shorts. what boots did they train in prior to getting there wings? and if they were corcorans is that always what they used? thanks. -matt

The shorts should be blue swim trucks and a pair of black chuck's.

the chucks were made in 40's or so? i thought they were made in the 50's!

what boots did they train in prior to getting there wings? and if they were corcorans is that always what they used? -matt They used type I service shoes, and they were not alowed to blouse their pants over them. Once they completed Airborne school, then they were issued Corcorans.
