Can you use 7.2v batteries with the CYMA Thompson and AGM m14 (base gun) even if you need an adapter?

Depends on the mAh of the 7.2v battery and the spring rating in your AEG. Most stock AEG's are rated for 8.4v batteries.

If the 7.2V battery is a lipo, you can probably use it in a stock gun. It'l give more or less the same output as an 8.4V Nimh or Nicd.

You can use the 7.2's you will get a slower ROF but not horrible dude. If you have a ton of 7.2's from RC racing use what you got man. You should be ok. also if you are into RC convert your airsoft over to the Deans connectors and be glad you did...lol
