Based out of Sacramento, CA, but with members around the globe. wcoastraiders.webs.com Looking for the "REAL" deal? Looking to find true information about the Marine Reconnaissance and it's forefathers, the Raiders and Parachute Marines of WW2? Do you want to learn from real Marines who've served abroad, some have 'been there, done that"? Not only does West Coast Raiders (and it's east coast affiliate, East Coast Raiders) have prior service active duty Marines on it's rolls, but it has veterans who have fought in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Sheild/Storm and inIraq/Afghanistan. These veterans, especially the WW2, Korea, and Vietnam are 'mentors' to those that are portraying Marines and Navy Corpsman of past conflicts. There are also brother veterans from other branches that provide their experiences, veterans of foreign service as well, all with a common goal, portrayal and instruction of Marine re-enactors, given the courtesy and respect that which is warranted. West Coast Raiders gains it's knowledge through experience, not books.

this site is down. for some reason, webs.com froze the site and never explained why. we are currently working on building a new site for those interested. my advice, stay away from webs.com, lousy service, poor customer service.
