Has anyone purchased this little gas blowback? I thought it would look good in a holster if I sawed off the threaded barrel. I AM NOT looking for performance here, but I don't want the gun to fall apart with a little bit of back up use. Otherwise, can anyone tell me a german sidearm besides the luger or p38 I might be able to use?

Mags always leak like a sieve and has a very heavy trigger pull. I find it is not a good side arm to carry. Try the WE luger

Ah. i stand corrected. same internals perhaps? still, when it does work it shoots 400 fps. great range for a pistol.

You can get the Maruzen walther PPK/S, any 1911 (captured), or a Tanaka browning HP.

I already have a 1911, I don't like the looks of the ppk/s, and I can't find a Tanaka Browning HP

Well, that's pretty much it. How about the mauser c96? BTW, would you mind sharing why you don't want to use the luger or the p38 as these are the most common german side arms.
