looked at one this weekend and noted the olive color isn't quite correct. Besides that it is a fine late WW2/Korea era airsoft replica.

If you go to Airsoft Panda they have that one as well as the M1 Bazooka. I'll be picking one up shortly to use at blankfire events. May not be as loud but it certainly looks the part and you pack some flour in the shell and you get a nice poof!

I am always looking for 'accessories' for my WWII Dodge Weapons Carrier, so when I read, back in December, that an 'airsoft' M9A1 bazooka was available, I knew I had found a 'practical' way to include a bazooka in my displays! There are just no 'dummy' airborne bazooka replicas out there to be had. This 'real steel' monster weighs a ton (I haven't actually weighed it yet, but the website says its 17 lbs.) and compared to pics of the real deal, its fairly accurate to boot!. It comes in two halves, held together just like the original M9A1. These pics are taken after a repaint with WWII OD Green. Here is the tail end, fully detailed. The major inaccuracies are: 1. It comes in an odd semigloss forest-green paint color. 2. The gun sight opens like the real deal, but has a single glass plate with crosshairs, rather than the lense system of the original. 3. The metal plate with elevation markings is bright aluminum. I dulled mine down with Flat Clear paint, but originals seem to be black/OD with white markings. 4. Safety switch is on the side of the grip, rather than on the back edge. I added an appropriate sling, and, as you can see, it looks great fully assembled too! In reality, it is great as a display item (which is why I bought it), but it may not be a very practical as an airsoft weapon since the bazooka must be disassembed into its 2 halves in order to load it . . . A Major Pain! But with practice it can be done smoothly and doesn't take too long. To fire long range, it must be used as a 'howitzer', angling it upwards perhaps 20 degrees or more to create a 'shower' of bb's. Not sure how far they went, cause I couldn't find them! LOL. A rubber tipped airsoft 'slug' went sailing about 150 feet ! ! ! Got mine at Redwolf, and they also have the M1 version. Doc
