Found this photo while searching for 82nd airborne photos online. The title said 505th during D-Day and shows two paratroopers wearing cut parachute for helmet covers. Never seen any photos with that before and thought I would share.

Yea this photo is from Mark A. Bando book ... 101st Airborne: The Screaming Eagles at Normandy, highly recommend for anybody wanting to do 101st ..... ( "research .. it all about research ....." ) what is interesting is the dead German on bottom right of the photo ... and how they oblivious to him. Yeah it is interesting to see just how much they dont care about him. Its also interesting the author put 82nd guys in a book about 101
