On the UK forum they have the article. Release Date 2012. Knowing Zeta Lab price range probably $1000+ Bren and ZB26 cancelled though.

Thats the big problem with most MG's, their too expensive for the average player. Well, me anyway.

The good thing is the average player doesn't need one. You only need one MG per 7 players or so.

I just wanted to update this threads with some news from everything-airsoft.com Zeta-Lab has spoken out about the rumours that the MG42 and ZB vz.26 projects has been cancelled, this is far from the truth. Zeta-Lab is on track with development of both models and is currently fine-tuning the quick detach barrel and magazine feed of the ZB vz. 26. Zeta-Lab also addressed the rumours that the MG42 will be upwards of $1000USD in cost and has advised that the MG42 will be going into mass production and will be much less than what’s rumoured. Just to whet our appetite Zeta-Lab has released production snapshots of the MG42 drum magazine which you can check out below. Manufactured from pressed steel and will hold 1500 BBs. www.everything-airsoft.com/blog/2011/09/24/zeta-lab-on-track-with-mg42-and-zb-vz-26/

A LOT LESS? haha. 999.99? if a rifle was 400, i cant imagine the mg. Im guessing 500-700 Obviously out of most peoples price range. But Its 1 mg out of a 10 man squad, so its fine if everybody pools money.

Thanks geostormz for the link. That is welcome news. Having these available will be a boon for the hard pressed German forces, as I was getting that left out feeling after hearing about all the Allied armaments coming out. I didn't know about the SVT-40 development either. Another nice addition to their line. East Front action is going to heat up.

That is welcome news indeed. Great price point and from their pictures appears to be a great reproduction quality wise. Looking foward to seeing the final product.

The SVT40 prototype looks amazing. Obviously these two offerings if priced reasonably would be wonderful. Im guessing with all these new offerings on the horizon the next 18 months are going to change the WW2 landscape considerably. Yeah!!!!!
