Im getting into collecting usmc wwll gear and uniforms and I can't find a plain HBT jacket for a good price or in my size but I Allways find the camo HBT jackets for good prices, so I was wondering did you have to be a specific rank to issued this jacket or were they issued to random soldiers?

The camo was used in certain campaigns and not in others regardless of rank. IWO Jima and Tarawa you see the camo worn but for example not at Guadalcanal. I hope that provides some clarity.

Seems like P41s are hard to find, although Spearhead has them. But I've not seen them in person. I would imagine they would be fine for Airsoft. Regarding the Frog skins, like 2nd Bat said, they were introduce first to Raiders and Parachute Bns then became mainstream at Tarawa and slowly phased out by the P44's. Minor faux pas, Marines were never refered to as "soldiers".

Spearheads Allied stuff is pretty good. I have the Army version of the camo uniform and it is very nice quality. That being said, aside from a couple campaigns, camo was pretty rare amongst the Marines.
