Hey, does anyone do restoration work? I though I would share some of my experiences and discuss other restoration topics! K-17 Lead Computing Gunsight, I have done about 20 of these, some operational. This particular one is for A P-82 at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Packard Merlin 61, 12 cylinder. I have assisted in 3 static displays, non functional. Assisted in the move of a Grumman Duck A Rolls Royce Merlin (I forgot which version) static display restoration project, completed a few months ago. Out of a Hawker Hurricane A possible future M3 Halftrack project 1955 Corvette, Jeanette and I taking a break from work lol A Norden Bombsight restoration, I do not work on these much, mostly my father.

That is some beautiful work. I do weaponry restorations, particularly of the Mosin resnipering variety (or at least, I would, if my drill press hadn't decided to go south on me a week ago... but I only paid $50 for it and its lasted 3 years so I can't complain). When I get home I'll dredge up some pictures of the Bren I'm 95% of the way through

I do some arms work but I do not like to call it restoration, since I take sporter guns and replace them with original parts. I got an Arisaka Type99 that has been sportered and am in the process of fixing it up!
