its been years since I went to a Lion Claws event but I attended LION CLAWS 11 this weekend. modern airsoft doesnt especially appeal to me but thid was a fun event. the venue was the long closed George AFB in California and took place in the closed housing unit. there were probably 200 structures (many of them multiple story buildings) and lots of military vehicles. The speeches about the significance of memorial day were brief but poinyent and launched the two day game well. The mission plans were well thought out and the leadership down to the squad leaders was pretty darn good. overall it was a fun weekend. i hope the day comes when such an event can be held with a WW2 theme although I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

A few friends from 'The Regiment' were there and expressed their enjoyment. I hope the day between reenacting and airsoft can be blended!

i saw most of your buddies from the regiment. Tom, alpha wolf, longshanks, kramer and heath. thats one of the great things about big events is catching up with old buddies although the event was so huge and i was so busy with XO duties that i had little time to visit.
