This is a beautiful gun. I only hope the load bearing parts are not pot metal. With shipping it should work out to around $550-$600. Those prices might put 2nd bat back to work

I cant build one for that as mine ranged from $550.00 to 750.00 with the feeling that the build time was too great. This looks like a real nice offering.

I'm going to wait until someone has purchased one and fired 100 shots or so thru it.

What the heck. If you enlarge it is says the fire modes are safe and semi-auto... WTF!! A Springfield is a bolt action!!

Looking good, but it seems to me that it is modification from co2 kar98.

Anyone know of any reviews on this thing yet? The price went up from $300 to $450 last time I checked so I'm guessing it sold quite a few.

I dont know anyone personally who has one of these but like you, Im anxious to hear how well they perform. typically gas powered guns just dont cut it as skirmish weapons so Im not confident enough to order one in the dark. wish someone would just formally marry up a VSR with the WW2 visuals of a Springfield, Kar, and Enfield (other than us homebuilders who cant generate enough economy of scale to keep the price down.)

This initial post about the springfield was on the second of september. It is now december and it is still described as "coming soon". There are obviously lots of new offerings on the horizon but good golly these things seem to follow oe delay after another. ST and Zeta labs seem to know what we want however! if the reports are favorable I definitely will acquire one of these Springfields!
