This isn't really for things like "Wehrmacht Uniforms" or Camouflage of the Heer" but more like recreational reads set in the second world war. I have two FANTASTIC recommendations, set on the Ostfront, both by the same author, Heinrich Mueller. Juggernaut, I've read about 5 or 6 times, and my uniform is based off of the unteroffizer of the German squad. It's full of very detailed imagery, in a very poetic fashion, however it can be VERY brutal and gory, as was the war, of course. the other book is Panzer Grenadiers, haven't started it it yet (been catching up with Spice and Wolf and Black Butler, but anyways...) I've skimmed it and it is nonetheless impressive, set before Juggernaut, it follows the same characters, however, I don't think the stories are related. And as for Muellers first book, Kammeraden I'm yet to get my hands on, but this would be Muellers first book, and with how fantastic his other two are I can only imagine the story and imagery in his first book. they are available from Amazon, though you might can find them on eBay. Fantastic pieces for any fiction WWII reader enthusiast

In our random collection books I found a book that was apart of an 18 volume series that came out in the 60's called "The Military History of World War II" By Trevor Nevitt Dupuy Col. U.S. Army, Ret. I liked it, it had some good pictures so I went on Ebay and bought the whole series for 20$ They're not big books, they average about 90-100 pages each but they're still pretty nice.
