Probably get it if it comes out. Wouldn't get your hopes up too soon, they said their Garand was coming out 2 or so years ago, still hasn't come through. So if you have any projects, planned do them.

My favorite rifle of all time. Good thing I already built one, God only knows how much G&G will charge for something like that

wishful thinking...i hope they come up with the earlier version with the ladder type sights. that would be perfect for philippine constabulary 1941-42.

Do any of us? So many wonderful new choices. Its a smorgasboard. Eventually id love to have an armory that reflects all the ww2 offerings but probably need to put the focus on just us weapons which used to mean having a thompson.

People are actually having trouble which weapons to pick, when I first got into airsoft the only two choices were either a Thompson or a single shot M1 Carbine

There was also a dreadful GBB Hudson Grease gun and a $2,500.00 JAC BAR.

There was also a dreadful GBB Hudson Grease gun and a $2,500.00 JAC BAR. I actually haven't heard of the JAC BAR untill recently, when I saw an old video of it on youtube that's now over 6 years old I guess it was just so expensive, I have never even heard of anyone who owned one. A friend of my father who owns a hobby shop around where I live has a blank fire group, and one of them brought their airsoft Hudson Grease gun to a reenactment. That was the only time I've seen one in person, and at the time I thought it was sooo cool. I tried to look for one everywhere, no place had it in stock. From what I hear now, probably a good thing I didn't buy one ;D

There was a poster and materials on the GnG M1903 at the GnG Booth at Shotshow where they were touting both the new Garand and Springfield. The springfield appears to be identical to the S&T offering. Nine ready rounds in a CO2 powered Clip with NO cartridges (thank goodness). A sudden plethora of WW 2 offerings. How cool is that? no word on pricing or release dates.

the bolt looks like it's a bent bolt so they'll pry release a scope for it later on. I'm hoping that it'll use the g980 mags and if it did that should mean that the actual co2 system is done they just need to make it work inside the body.

Maybe, but with Springfields all of their m1903's had bent bolts, so it's not like a Mosin-nagant where if it wasn't meant for a scope, it would have a straight bolt.

Actually the bolt for the M1903A4 was a slightly different shape to facilitate its use with a scope.

On the chance that it's a rebrand, do you think it'll come with a bayonet like the one S&T offers? Jokes aside, it's only a matter of time to see who is going to produce them and ship them to US outlets first. Sadly, that seems to be the trend lately. But more time means more savings!

a bayonet would be cool but uh seeing as how they released a scope for the g980 they pry will with the springfield. I wish they would do actual mags with the mosins, it would be a lot easier then what they have with the current loading systems

The choices of guns is night and day compared to when I started, the springfield I plan on adding to my armory!
